Atlanta-based online automotive marketplace MakeMyDeal said it has rolled out F&I Connect, an online service that allows customers to choose finance and insurance options before purchasing a vehicle from the site. The F&I Connect service is provided by Southlake, Texas-based tech company F&I Express
New York City-based insurance broker and risk management firm Integro Ltd. said it has acquired London-based Lloyd's broker Ellis Clowes. Terms were not disclosed. Ellis Clowes specializies in motorsports insurance as well as conflict and security, marine and aviation insurance. Ellis Clowes CEO Karen Ellis will take on the role of global head of motorsports within Integro's global entertainment and sports practice.
London-based reinsurance broker Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) said it plans to sell its CGSC North America business unit, which consists of wholesale broker Swett & Crawford, specialty managing general agencies J.H. Blades & Co and Creechurch International Underwriters, and a U.S. reinsurance broker. The divestiture does not include the Miami office for Cooper Gay's Latin American operation, which will remain within the CGSC International business.
Peoria Ill.-based RLI Insurance Co. announced that its RLI Executive Products Group has created a new Representations and Warranties liability insurance policy to protect buyers and sellers involved in corporate mergers and acquisitions from financial losses because of unanticipated liabilities encountered during the purchase and sale process. RLI says the policy is a single, hybrid buy-side/sell-side form that helps mitigate the risks associated with inaccuracies or breaches in contractual representations or warranties.
Houston-based global geoscientific data products and services provider TGS and Washington, D.C.-based insurer Clements Worldwide said they are offering an end-to-end fleet protection program for humanitarian aid organizations.

Texas-based residential and commercial cleaning, restoration and reconstruction company Blackmon Mooring and BMS CAT said it has opened new global headquarters at 5718 Airport Freeway in Haltom City, Texas. The new building allows for the separate headquarters of Blackmon Mooring and BMS CAT to be combined under one roof, and streamlines several corporate and operating functions. The 34,000-square-foot building also will house the company's document restoration equipment and services.
