NAPSLO's 2016 Mid-Year Leadership Forum will be held in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess, from Feb. 29 to March 2. Online registration will for the event will open in December.
The Mid-Year meeting will begin on Monday, Feb. 29 with opportunities for networking and an Opening Reception. Tuesday, March 1 will be dedicated to member business meetings and networking. On Wednesday the annual Leadership Session will feature a guest speaker and there will be additional networking in the Brokers' Lounge.
The Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation will again host its annual Golf Invitational, which assists the Foundation in funding student scholarships, supporting the Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designation, and commissioning the A.M. Best Co. to produce the annual report on the surplus lines market, on Wednesday, March 2.
"We are looking forward to hosting another premier networking event for our industry's executive leaders next year in Scottsdale," said James Drinkwater, 2015–16 Mid-Year Committee Chair. "I think members look forward to the Mid-Year event because it provides a more relaxed venue for networking. It's a great event for interacting with our industry's executives in a smaller group setting."
