The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) announced the election of its 2015-2016 board of directors, including two new directors. Active IMCA members participated in the online election, which was held in August.

Joining the IMCA board are Leslie Lash, director of group communications and advertising at AmWINS Group Inc., and Debbie Luera, corporate communications and marketing coordinator at Mutual Insurance Company of Arizona (MICA). The new directors will serve two-year terms on the IMCA board.

“We are thrilled to have Leslie and Debbie join IMCA's board of directors,” said Mark Friedlander, president of the IMCA board and head of corporate communications at The Main Street America Group. “Both of them bring a wide array of insurance industry marketing and communications experience to our board and will add much value to our organization. IMCA is looking forward to another great year as we build upon the success of our 2015 Annual Conference and continue to enhance our member value.”

Four IMCA board directors were re-elected to two-year terms: Ryan Arndorfer, Randy Clinger, Dave Evans and Valerie Foster. The four current IMCA executive board members and four directors were not up for reelection this year. IMCA executive director Gloria Grove of The Harrington Company, the association's management firm, will remain a member of the IMCA board.
