Taylor Swift sells out stadiums worldwide for her concert performances, and this country/pop princess knows what she's gotta do to keep the cash ($64 million in 2014, according to Forbes) rolling in if an accident occurs.
Insure her legs, of course.
Outlets report that the 5'10″ singer/songwriter insured her legs for $40 million this past week. Swift, who keeps aware of her press, issued a tongue-in-cheek response after her cat Meredith scratched her:
GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS

Swift isn't the first celebrity to take out an insurance policy on a body part. From vocal chords to sperm, Hollywood icons insure it all. Click through the following slides to read about nine more such policies.
Bette Davis
In the 1940s, the actress purchased a policy to protect against weight gain. The wartime Hollywood star's $28,000 policy reportedly paid out if she grew to any size beyond her 25″ corset.
Bruce Springsteen
Unlike Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen knows that his voice is his moneymaker. The Boss insured his vocal chords to the tune of $6 million.
Daniel Craig
This British actor, who currently plays James Bond, performs his own stunts. While filming his first appearance as 007 in "Casino Royale," he insured his body for $7.7 million. For the 2008 sequel, Craig upped the price to $9.5 million. No word on the going rate for 2012′s "Skyfall" or the upcoming "Spectre."
Dolly Parton
Country singer Dolly Parton insured her famous chest for $600,000.
Keith Richards
In a Fortune interview, Richards flashed his hands and said "these are my business." Taking care of his financial interests, the founding member and guitarist of the Rolling Stones insured his hands for $1.6 million. However, some outlets report that it wasn't his whole hand–just the middle finger.
Jennifer Lopez
"Throw up your hands if you love a big booty" JLo sings in her 2014 song (called "Booty," of course). The singer reportedly protects her derriere with a $27 million policy.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Not to be outdone by David Beckham's $70 million insurance policy, European soccer club Real Madrid insured the legs of its star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, for $144 million.
Julia Roberts
The Pretty Woman with the million-watt smile insured her pearly whites for $30 million.

The Van Halen frontman was reportedly so paranoid about impregnating a groupie that he insured his sperm for $1 million. The policy was to protect against a potential paternity suit.
