Ironshore's Iron-Starr Excess Agency says it is losing its CEO.
Stuart Anderson is stepping down because he is relocating for personal reasons, says the Hamilton, Bermuda-based specialty P&C group.
He will continue to work closely with the management team for the rest of the year.
Anderson joined the managing general underwriting agency of Ironshore and CV Starr Group in 2009. He built out the MGA's financial lines platform.
COO Mitch Blaser will be taking the reigns as CEO of Iron-Starr on an interim basis.
“From an operational perspective, the Iron-Starr team is committed to business as usual and looks forward to continued and growing support from its colleagues and clients,” he says in a statement, which does not indicate if Anderson plans to remain in the insurance industry after his move.
Anderson started his insurance career with Chubb writing financial lines and professional liability before moving to AIG
