The third in our series of Shop Talk Community podcasts features Michael Jones, vice president of sales, U.S., for Xuber Insurance Software speaking with George Grieve, author of the Shop Talk column for Tech Decisions magazine.
Jones has more than 10 years sales experience with major companies providing technology solutions to the insurance market. He started his career in the retail agency space as a producer, marketing and selling property & casualty insurance products. That experience transformed into a more specific focus in the risk management arena with the placement of more complex risks through a variety of non-traditional risk financing vehicles.
Throughout the early part of his insurance career he discovered that the industry was underserved by technology. He took his understanding of insurance production and risk financing to the technology space within the insurance industry and spent many years consulting and selling technology products to all sizes of retail insurance agents and brokers through the United States and Canada.
These organizations ranged from 100 employee operations to the largest global players. From workflow management to network infrastructure, he successfully walked these organizations through a managed process that achieved the business requirements and goals that we set out on.
Recently he turned his attention to taking that same process driven success to the insurance carrier space with Xuber.
