Agents can increase productivity with several new programs and apps. AJ Kumar, co-founder of Single Grain, a digital marketing agency based in San Francisco that specializes in helping startups and companies with SEO, pay-per-click and social media, provided seven web productivity tools to Forbes, courtesy of the Young Entrepreneur Council. Costs range from free to subscriptions for premium accounts:
- Yast: a time-tracking tool to help you see how much time you're spending on unimportant tasks to improve efficiency.
- Bitrix24: a combination social intranet system and CRM tool that includes content tracking, sales funnel management, messaging, activity planning and calendars.
- Trello: combining elements of Pinterest and Basecamp HG, this free program allows users to create project boards and easily manage people and resources associated with tasks.
- Sanebox: restores sanity to inbox clutter by filtering newsletters and lower-priority messages into a “read later” folder.
- WriteMonkey: transforms a computer into a full-screen writing environment that blocks out distractions on standard computer interfaces. Free and customizable.
- LastPass: secure, free program manages passwords and automatically generates and stores them to prevent hacking. A premium subscription allows for mobile integration.
- HipChat: users can create private chat rooms for groups, send messages and share files that pertain to ongoing discussions.
