OneBeacon, Swett & Crawford Team Up for Managed Care Program

OneBeacon Professional Insurance says it has established an underwriting relationship with Managed Care Services to create insurance options for managed care organizations.

OneBeacon Professional Insurance is part of the OneBeacon Insurance Group and specializes in professional liability for hospitals, long-term care facilities, medical facilities, physician groups, media organizations, lawyers, real estate professionals, design professionals, financial services and technology providers.

Managed Care Services is a division of Swett & Crawford, a wholesale intermediary.

The managed care program will include broader coverage for new exposures in the health care industry, subpoena defense expense coverage by endorsement, and expanded definitions to incorporate new areas of risk—such as calculation of medical loss ratio.
