The Better World Club of Portland offers a special line provided by Gales Creek Insurance Services called BIKEon to members of its bicycle roadside assistance program. The line can be purchased independently of auto insurance, a condition that used to exclude those who didn't own cars from being insured. Details include:
- Eligibility for road bikes, mountain bikes and electric bikes
- Up to $100,000 in bill reimbursement
- Liability payments of up to $1 million for accidents caused by the insured.
The program is a major victory for avid cyclists. Primary members of the Bike Only roadside assistance program offered by Better World Club will receive this coverage for no extra charge.
