Celebrities draw on their massive appeal to command staggering salaries while enjoying a steady stream of product endorsements and accolades.
However, A-listers tend to be camera shy during automotive mishaps, such as crashing into a dump truck or a concrete wall.
Beginning on the next page, we revisit seven major celebrity car crashes of 2011, featuring a cameo by a troubled starlet who should probably consider endorsing a roadside assistance program.

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Jewel was involved in a two-car collision on March 11, 2011, in Stephenville, Texas, when a fire truck broad-sided the passenger side of her vehicle. The multi-platinum recording artist was in the third trimester of her first pregnancy. Jewel was taken to a nearby hospital, where she and baby were declared fine. The accident nearly destroyed the singer's silver Cadillac SRX.

Randy "Macho Man" Savage of World Wrestling Entertainment fame, crashed his Jeep Wrangler into a tree in Pinellas County, Fla. on May 20, 2011. Initially it was reported that he had been killed as a result of the collision. However, an autopsy determined he had suffered a massive heart attack immediately before losing control of the vehicle.
Savage, who had no reported history of heart problems, was found to have an enlarged heart and a 90-percent narrowing of the coronary arteries. His wife emerged from the crash with only minor injuries.
Lindsay Lohan has a long history of driving mishaps, dating back to her infamous DUI arrest in 2007. In July 2011, the troubled starlet was involved in an alleged hit and run, although formal charges were never filed.
Lohan's most recent car crash happened on June 8, 2012 while heading to the set of her upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic, "Liz & Dick." The accident occurred at approximately noon when Lohan's Porsche slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway. A statement released by her publicist stated, "[Lohan] was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution. She was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident."
Reports that Lohan lied to police at the scene of her latest crash continue to circulate. In light of the series of accidents logged by the now 25-year-old actress, the Lifetime producers of "Liz & Dick" thought it best to hire a driver for Lohan.
