Claims professionals report their cases are closing faster, printing and mailing costs are eliminated and expenses associated with preparing an arbitration filing have been reduced through web-based subrogation.
Insurance-claims industry members speaking at the annual conference of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals in Orlando, Fla., say the electronic subrogation system, used as a document management and communication tool, is delivering gains in productivity.
W. Russ Smith, president and chief executive officer of Arbitration Forums, Inc., says users of the electronic subrogation system, E-Subro Hub, are reporting that cases are frequently closed within days as opposed to weeks or months, and expenses associated with preparing an arbitration filing have been reduced.
