One could say that Kenneth Boughter was grounded by a Dauphin County, Penn. judge after the 30-year-old played hide-and-seek with his antique fire truck, collecting $26,000 from his insurer.

Boughter was ordered to spend the next 6 months under house arrest and has re-paid State Farm for the failed scheme.

The Manheim, Lancaster County resident, plead guilty in July to insurance fraud. According to the state attorney general's office, Boughter tried to cheat State Farm insurance by hiding his 1975 Mack pumper in Juniata County and reporting it stolen in August 2008. Boughter also admitted to submitting an insurance claim after he set his Cadillac Escalade on fire in April 2009.
