RSG announces new leadership: Nicole Haggerty joins Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) as president of ThinkRisk Underwriting Agency and Reza Khan joins as the executive vice president. Haggerty was Senior Vice President and National E&O Practice Leader for Allied World U.S. and Khan most recently served as Vice President of Allied World's US Programs Division.

Two companies merge to insure health and human service agencies: NIF Group, a leading Program Administrator and Specialty Brokerage firm, joins with IronshorePrograms unit to insure health and human service agencies. Coverage will be provided for general and professional liability, on an occurrence or claims made basis.

Vertafore completes acquisition: Vertafore, the leading provider of insurance distribution channel management solutions, announced that the acquisition of Kaplan Compliance Solutions (KCS) by its wholly owned subsidiary, Sircon, has closed. Sircon producer licensing solutions and the KCS producer and broker dealer compliance platform and outsourcing solutions will be marketed under the Vertafore Producer Lifecycle Management product family. This product line is the most comprehensive proven Producer Lifecycle Management offering available in the insurance and securities industries.

TUMI launches intermodal trucking insurance program: Trinity Underwriting Managers (TUMI) now offers a program that insures the operations of intermodal trucking companies. The Trinity Underwriting Managers' Intermodal Program (TRIP) has a unique and proprietary rating methodology that can deliver the most competitive value program available. Features of TRIP include trailer interchange agreement, broad cargo coverage and terminal and container yard coverage.

Travelers expands with a specialized insurance program: Travelers announced they now offer a specialized insurance offering with IndustryEdge(R) for craft breweries. The program includes industry-specific insurance coverages, experienced risk control consultants and dedicated claim services that are tailored to the nuances of this niche and specialized segment.

Retail gunsmiths and gun stores are offered new insurance program: Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) is launching its insurance product designed to meet the needs of the expanding outdoor recreational industry, for retail gun stores and gunsmithing. The coverage enhancements provides protection specific to retail gun store exposures including gunsmithing (repairing, modifying of fire arms), shooting ranges, firearm instructors, personal property of others and property off premises.
