The Franklin Mutual Insurance Co. (FMI) has joined the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's producer branding initiative Trusted Choice as the 62nd insurance company member.
FMI, headquartered in Branchville, N.J., was founded in 1879 as The Franklin Farmers Mutual Fire Assurance Association.
According to Highline Data, in terms of ranking in the New Jersey market by direct premium written, FMI is ranked 21st.
The company is primarily a writer of homeowners insurance and commercial multiperil.
