Vertafore, a provider of insurance distribution channel management solutions, announces the acquisition of Kaplan Compliance Solutions (KCS) by its wholly owned subsidiary, Sircon, has closed.
The Sircon producer licensing solutions and the KCS producer and broker dealer compliance platform and outsourcing solutions will be marketed under the Vertafore Producer Lifecycle Management product brand.
“With the close of this strategic acquisition, Vertafore continues to deliver on our commitment to helping carriers, broker dealers and the compliance and regulatory community streamline and automate the complex process of producer appointing, registrations, licensing and day-to-day compliance transactions,” says Susanna Morgan, senior vice president of Vertafore. “We plan to continue investing in our Producer Lifecycle Management solutions, which will allow our customers to elevate their compliance practices and focus on growing their businesses.”
Through this acquisition, Kaplan University's School of Professional and Continuing Education (KU PACE) and Vertafore have entered into a joint marketing agreement. KU PACE will be a preferred education services provider for KCS/Sircon customers. This will allow the organizations to bring to the market an integrated education/compliance solution.
