Aon appoints new senior VP: Aon eSolutions, Aon Corp.'s technology solutions business, reports that Ronald Young will take on the role of senior vice president of global product management. Young will oversee the company's entire product portfolio including risk, insurance and safety management solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and insurance industry.
Ali Ishaq joins Arbella: Ali Ishaq will be the AVP of research analytics for Arbella Insurance. Ishaq most recently assisted in developing an actuarial science program for Indiana University and joins Arbella with more than 20 years of industry experience.
NAPSLO names new executive director: The board of directors for theNational Assn. of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) announced that Brady R. Kelley will be the executive director of the organization. Kelley is replacing Richard M. Bouhan who is retiring from the organization after 30 years of service.
New hires with AmWINS brokerages of New Jersey and Alabama: Nicolas Gagliardi joins AmWINS brokerage of New Jersey as assistant vice president and Wil Cooper joins AmWINS brokerage of Alabama as a reinsurance broker. Gagliardi will mainly focus on casualty risks in his position while Cooper's responsibilities include internal facultative reinsurance brokerage, capital market placements and creating additional capacity for AmWINS brokers with various markets.
Lockton office opens in Omaha: Lockton announced the expansion of its insurance and risk management operations with the addition of a new office located in Omaha, Neb. Jack Strunk, an Omaha native and proven leader in the industry, will preside over Lockton operations in the Nebraska office.
CCF&N plans office opening: Connelly, Carlisle, Fields and Nichols (CCF&N) are planning to open a Ybor City office in hopes of leveraging its skills in assisting businesses with their insurance needs. CCF&N has chosen Ybor City because it is a central location for growing businesses in the technology and creative industies and plan to bring in 15 jobs to the location. The office will open after the renovation of the Columbia Bank building, built in 1936.

PIA National forms new insurance company: The National Assoc. of Professiona Insurance Agents (PIA National) announced the construction of the PIA Professional Liability Insurance Co. (PIAPRO). PIAPRO is a risk retention group that furnishes errors and omissions coverage exclusively to PIA members. Rate and form filings for the program are now finalized in 35 states with remaining states at different stages of the approval process.
Bill Jeatran becomes new regent for St.John's: St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn., named Bill Jeatran, a CEO of RJF, to its board of regents. He is a 1982 graduate of the St. John's and founded RJF Agencies ( now RJF a Marsh and McLennan Agency) 4 years after graduating. Jeatran has supported St. John and its students through involvement with the alumni assocs., hiring students from the university and regularly consorting with alumni both professionally and personally.
