LexisNexis Risk Solutions announces that it will provide interconnectivity between the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange platform and the Assurex Global Passport system. Assurex Global, a network of independent insurance agents and brokers, has 110 global broker partners and represents more than $28 billion in annual premium volume.
Partners collaborate during the sales process through Passport, and can utilize the Insurance Exchange to manage the submission process to place the risk. Integration of the two solutions will allow brokers to move documents and data from Passport to the Insurance Exchange in a single step, automating the setup of a client and submission within the Insurance Exchange.
"We are impressed by the Insurance Exchange, and its integration with our proprietary Passport system is a natural fit," says Jim Hackbarth, president and CEO of Assurex Global. "Assurex Global exists to help our partners grow, succeed and remain independent—to do what is in their best interest. This integration will help our broker partners better leverage the benefits of both tools while also streamlining the submission process."
"Assurex Global is well-respected industry-wide for providing first class tools and support to its brokers," says Peter Lynch, president, LexisNexis Insurance Exchange. "We're pleased to count the Insurance Exchange among those solutions, and we are excited by the additional efficiency the integration with Passport provides."
