Remigio Noriega was named chief executive officer of Marsh Mexico effective immediately, says insurance broker Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Cos.
Noriega formerly led Marsh Mexico's multinational client service, commercial segment and surety practices and served as senior relationship officer for some of its largest clients.
In his new position, Noriega will lead Marsh Mexico's retail brokerage operations as well as continue to lead Marsh's Automobile Practice in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.
Noriega succeeds Ricardo Brockmann, who will continue as CEO of Marsh's LAC region and president of Marsh Mexico.
Joining Marsh in 1987, Noriega has held numerous managerial positions including strategic planning, sales and multinational servicing.
