New hire at Paul Davis: Lloyd Swiggum joined Paul Davis National as president of the catastrophic loss restoration firm. He will oversee the commercial and industrial property damage restoration organization and will assist customers following catastrophic events. Swiggum has responded to several events including 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina as a global catastrope expert in the restoration field.
New member to WAHVE advisory board: Martin L. Vaughn joined the advisory board for Work At Home Vintage Employees(WAHVE)—a company that provides staffing services for insurance firms. Vaughn also has become an investor for the company.
3 New hires with Conner Strong and Buckelew: Roger Ladda, Kristine Klepper and Franz Wagner have joined Conner Strong and Buckelew . Ladda will serve as president and alternative risk/captive practice leader, Klepper will serve as senior vice president and employee benefits practice leader and Wagner will serve as senior vice president and major accounts/senior accounts exec.

Landy and Navigators Management join forces: The Herbert H. Landy Insurance Agency has partnered with Navigators Management Company to offer a program for accountants professional liability insurance nationally. An 'Express' application with a 2 year policy option is offered with the program and is available to accounting firms with revenues of $1 million or less.

San Diego county exec and educator recieves award: The InVEST program named Bob Captain as the InVEST teacher of the year. Captain is a faculty member at Grossmont College and an insurance exec with Barney and Barney. The key purpose of the program is to attract new talent to the insurance industry.
