Are you one of those folks who always morbidly wondered what it would be like to see a tornado up close and personal? Take a look at the video below and wonder no more.

This raw footage, taken by meteorologist David Payne for television station KFOR in Oklahoma City, documents one of many tornadoes that struck the Midwest on Tuesday.

Things start off much like other storm chaser videos, in that there is frantic yelling and a general sense of excitement mixed with panic.

But around the 1:08 minute mark, note the explosions coming from power lines. Then various telephone poles start floating and you realize this isn't a movie, it's the real thing.
