Mark Heuer named VP at Crump: Crump promoted Mark Heuer to vice president, national agency relations. Heuer began his career with Crump in 2005 as vice president, casualty broker. In his new role, Heuer will work with larger retail agents to match resources, teams and expertise to provide service.
New name at Clements: Clements International has completed a 6-month rebranding effort to become Clements Worldwide. This move unites the company's Washington, D.C., and London offices under one brand.

Arrowhead acquires Trafalgar Marine: Aarowhead General Insurance Agency acquired specialty insurance agency Trafalgar Marine Insurance Services. Trafalgar's personal and commercial marine programs allow Arrowhead to expand its specialty and personal lines franchises, and enhance its product offering for its network of producers and brokers.
New Policies
Ryan Specialty launches pharmaceutical MGU: Ryan Specialty Group launched LifeScienceRisk, an MGU specializing in generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices and nutritional supplements. Insurance products include general liability or mono-line products liability for manufacturers, contract manufacturers, repackers and distributors. Available on a non-admitted basis in all states other than Delaware and Rhode Island, the program is underwritten by Catlin Specialty Insurance Co.
New property coverage at Travelers: Travelers now offers new property coverages available through its IndustryEdge product for healthcare organizations. New coverages include: Ordinance or Law – Communicable Disease Contamination coverage, Condemnation of Medical Property, and Unintentional Errors or Omissions – Failure to Report Locations.
AAIS files agricultural excess and umbrella: The American Assn. of Insurance Services initiated a countrywide filing of its new Agricultural Commercial General Liability Excess and Umbrella program. The program includes three base forms (two umbrella and one excess) and nearly 140 multistate endorsements. The three base forms include: Farm Commercial Umbrella Liability, Agribusiness Commercial Umbrella Liability, and Agricultural Commercial Excess Liability.

Best rates All Risks' new agents' E&O coverage “A++ XV.” The coverage services accounts for property & casualty, life/accident & health, variable annuities/variable life and mutual funds. The agents' E&O program covers punitive damages, offers multiple limit options, and deductibles begin at $1,000 with aggregates available.

TMPAA names three Best Practices agencies: The Target Markets Program Administrators Assn. awarded three of its member agencies, AmRisc, Bunker Hill Underwriters and GMI Insurance, Best Practice Designation at the recent mid-year meeting in Boston.
UACIC students honored: The College of Business at East Carolina University has collaborated with the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research to offer the University Associate Certified Insurance Counselor (UACIC) designation. In its first year, the Risk Management and Insurance concentration has 40 students enrolled and 15 students recently passed the UACIC exam. At University of Central Arkansas, seven students were honored for being the first in the nation to complete the UACIC designation program.
