Chicago-based insurance broker Aon Corp.'s subsidiary Aon Risk Solutions named Christopher Baudouin as chief executive officer of the Aon Global Client Network.
The Aon Global Client Network specializes in providing risk management advice to multinational clients.
Baudouin replaces David Greenberg who left Aon in 2008 to pursue other business opportunities.
Most recently, Baudouin served in a dual capacity as president and CEO of Aon Risk Solutions Mexico and chief operating officer of Aon Risk Solutions in Latin America.
Prior to joining Aon, Baudouin was CEO of Alexander & Alexander Mexico and served as managing director and senior partner responsible for all operations in Mexico, including property and casualty, marine, employee benefits, bonds, finance and administration and seven branch offices. Earlier, he was a partner in Asesores Kennedy and served as an account executive in the international and major account business unit, where he serviced large Mexican, U.S. and European clients.
“The Aon Global Client Network is the backbone of Aon's operations, and is at our clients' disposal around the globe,” says Steve McGill, chairman and CEO of Aon Risk Solutions. “Chris embodies the personal dedication and expertise of this team, and I am thrilled to appoint him to this position. His reputation for partnering with clients to manage complex global risks as well as his ability to develop international risk finance solutions sets the bar high for his team.”
