Disaster Kleenup International (DKI) announced its first charity golf tournament, 18 Holes for Hope, to be held Tuesday, May 10 in Glenview, Ill. The tournament is open to the public and 100 percent of proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.

"The Red Cross is truly grateful for the partnership and support of DKI," Amanda Wilander, manager of resource development for the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago "Partners like them [enable] the Red Cross to provide vital services in our communities that contribute to the resiliency of our friends and neighbors following disasters."

DKI provides its services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from insurance to water damage mitigation, fire cleaning and complete reconstruction, returning damaged property to its pre-loss condition.

"In our industry we deal with the effects of disasters, natural or accidental, every day," said Dale Sailer, president of DKI. "We know how much of an impact the American Red Cross has on communities all across the world. Recent tragedies like the earthquakes in Japan and Haiti prove how important these efforts are, and we are glad that we can support such a worthy organization."
