Earlier this month, the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices Ltd. announced a members-only competition for a new marketing campaign award—the first formally judged award in NAPSLO's history.
The competition seeks to reward the best marketing and branding campaigns for surplus and specialty insurance lines.
Kansas City, Mo.-based NAPSLO said it is teaming up with the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association to administer the award.
Entries will be judged by the creative team that evaluates the IMCA Showcase Awards, the insurance industry's longest-running creative awards for marketing and communications professionals.
"NAPSLO is excited to partner with IMCA and take advantage of this unique opportunity to promote marketing excellence and recognize the first-class marketing work done by our members," says Letha Heaton, president of NAPSLO. "We encourage all NAPSLO members to submit their best marketing campaigns."
Deadline for entries is April 1, 2011.
Materials must have been in the marketplace between January 1, 2010 and March 15, 2011, and campaign entries must include a minimum of two communication vehicles (non-electronic and/or electronic) that share a common campaign theme.
