Reinsurance broker Aon Benfield said its Brussels chief executive officer, Bernard Suys, will retire next month, to be replaced by Jean-François Walhin.

Mr. Walhin is currently Aon Benfield's head of analytics, Benelux. He will assume his new position March 1.

Benelux is an economic union in Western Europe consisting of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg

Jürgen Wielandts will take over for Mr. Walhin as head of analytics for Benelux.

Mr. Suys said he will remain with Aon Benfield until 2013, serving clients during that period.

Aon Benfield is a subsidiary of Chicago-based insurance broker Aon Corp.
