Dave Medvidofsky, CPCU, AAI, ARM, AIAF, CIC, has been promoted to vice president and head of the internal audit unit at The Main Street America Group.
Medvidofsky has led the Jacksonville-based carrier’s corporate strategy function since 2005. He originally joined the company in 1991 and was a personal lines underwriter for five years. Medvidofsky returned in 1997 as a regional underwriting manager and was promoted to director, business development, of its Information Systems & Services (ISS) subsidiary in 1999. Two years later, he was promoted to vice president and general manager of ISS and led the carrier’s insurance processing operations, which included policy processing, rate verification, premium services, and customer service.
Medvidofsky is vice president of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society and a member of its board of directors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management and master’s degree in business administration/leadership at Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, N.H.
