The Risk and Insurance Management Society Inc. announced that Scott B. Clark will lead the society as president for the 2011 term, effective Jan. 1.
Mr. Clark is the risk and benefits officer for the School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
He served RIMS as secretary in 2010 and has been a member of the RIMS board since 2000. Mr. Clark also is a founder of RIMS' Greater Miami Chapter, where he served as president in 1992 and again in 2003.
Past professional experience includes his role as state officer of the Florida Educational Risk Managers Association (FERMA) from 1989-1991 and president from 1991-1992. Mr. Clark is currently a member of the State and Local Government Benefit Association, Public Risk and Insurance Management Association, and Florida Health Care Coalition board.
Joining Mr. Clark as officers on the RIMS 2011 board of directors are:

? Secretary–John R. Phelps, director of business risk solutions, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Inc.

? Lori Seidenberg, vice president, enterprise risk management, Centerline Capital Group.
? William Montanez, director, risk management, Ace Hardware Corporation.
Re-elected for the 2010 term are:
? Robert Cartwright Jr., loss prevention manager, Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC.
? Frederick J. Savage, director, risk management (San Ramon), Chevron Corporation.
? Janet E. Barnes, risk manager and security administrator, Snohomish County PUD No.1.
? Daniel H. Kugler, assistant treasurer, corporate risk management, Snap-On Inc.
? Richard J. Roberts Jr., corporate risk manager, Ensign-Bickford Industries Inc.
? Nowell Seaman, manager, risk management and insurance services, University of Saskatchewan.
? Julie C. Pemberton, manager, ERM, Chiquita Brands International Inc.
? Mike Phillipus, director, insurance and risk management, ATP Oil & Gas Corporation.
? Terry Fleming, director, division of risk management, Montgomery County, Maryland.
