Daytona Beach, Fla.-based insurance broker Brown & Brown has acquired Potomac Falls, Va.-based insurance broker Synergy Benefits Inc.
Financial terms of the transaction were not released.
With revenues of approximately $1.2 million, Synergy Benefits is an employee benefits firm in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Bernard R. Dombrowski and Robert E. Hayward, principals of Synergy Benefits, and their staff will join with Brown & Brown Insurance Agency of Virginia's existing office in Manassas, Va., under the leadership of Pattysue Rauh.
