Thomas Kunkel, president, bond and financial products for Hartford, Conn.-based Travelers Companies, Inc., was named chairman of the Surety & Fidelity Association of America 2010-2011.
Mr. Kunkel was elected chairman at the association's annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
Tracey Vispoli, vice president, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, was named vice chairman.
Also elected to the SFAA executive committee were:
o David "Dusty" Rhodes, executive vice president, Insco Dico Group.
o Timothy Mikolajewski, president, Liberty Mutual Group.
o Richard L. Kinnaird, senior executive, fidelity & surety, Westfield Group.
