Although risk managers spend most waking hours at work keeping a close eye on the financial well-being of their organizations, they'll have a chance to see cash from a different perspective in a “Money Machine” being featured by National Underwriter at its RIMS exhibit booth later this month.
NU's booth–number 1719–will feature the money machine on April 26 and 27 in Boston at the Risk and Insurance Management Society's annual conference.
RIMS attendees will be invited to enter a drawing for the money machine, as part of a promotion to encourage risk managers to sign up for NU's daily e-newsletter.
Seven lucky risk management professionals will be chosen to participate in the “grab for cash” in a morning and afternoon session on Monday, April 26 and Tuesday, April 27. In addition to $200 in singles, a $100 bill will be up for grabs.
Any $100 bills not won in earlier sessions will be thrown into the grand finale on April 27 at 4 p.m.
“We are very excited about the money machine at RIMS this year,” said NU Publisher Chris Luke. “We wanted to do something big and attract a lot of attention to our booth, and offering a chance to win cash is a fun way to do just that.”
