The American Bar Association said it expects more than 150 of the nation's top insurance company and policyholders' counsel to attend its Annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar next month.

ABA said the three-day session in Tucson, Ariz., will address critical industry issues such as invoking arbitration clauses, hot topics in construction defects such as Chinese drywall, catastrophic business interruption losses, bankruptcy and the state of the economy.

Among other topics mentioned are: the intersection between bankruptcy and insurance coverage, litigation and negotiation of high-damage claims, measuring business interruption loss in wide-impact catastrophes, insurance coverage and the financial crisis, resolving reinsurance disputes at home and abroad, and legal ethics.

Complete details on the program, which will be held at the Westin Paloma in Tucson, can be found at http://www.abanet.org/litigation/committees/insurance/calendar_annual.html.
