The Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association (TPCIGA), which pays covered claims when an insurer becomes insolvent, announced the re-election of Lee Ann Alexander as chair of its board of directors.
Ms. Alexander is the assistant vice president and senior legislative counsel for Liberty Mutual Group in Austin, Texas, responsible for government relations, legislative and regulatory issues for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico.
TPCIGA also announced that Gerald Ladner, western regional president of Austin-based State Auto Insurance Companies, was appointed vice chair of the TPCIGA board.
Robin Curle was appointed secretary/treasurer of the TPCIGA board. TPCIGA said she has served as a board member for 10 years and is president of Curele Management, a property management company, and Silicon Hills Real Estate, an investment company.
Michael Gerik, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Companies executive vice president was also elected to the board.
Jo Betsy Norton, vice president, public affairs with the Texas Mutual Insurance Company, was re-elected to the TPCIGA board.
