Zenith National Insurance Corp. announced Janet Frank will become the new president and chief operating officer of its principal operating subsidiary, Zenith Insurance Company, on March 15.
She will also be an executive vice president of Zenith National Insurance Corp., the Woodland Hills, Calif.-based workers' compensation insurance provider said.
Jack D. Miller, currently the president and chief operating officer of Zenith Insurance Company, will become its vice chairman and will be responsible for strategic matters, including expanding the company's agricultural business to offer lines of insurance other than workers' compensation, Zenith said.
Ms. Frank most recently was president and chief executive officer of the California State Compensation Insurance Fund from Oct. 2007 to Oct. 2009. Previously, she was executive vice president of North American Field Operations for CNA Financial.
