New York-based insurance broker Integro said it has acquired William E. Kelly Agency, Inc., a personal lines agency based in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Integro said that the firm has operated in Westchester County, New York for more than 25 years and is well known for its significant niche business in insuring yachts. Integro declined to release any additional information about Kelly Agency.

Peter Garvey, Integro's president and chief executive officer said the deal would broaden Integro's offerings to its specialty niches.

"Our markets and client profiles align perfectly; culturally the two firms are a great fit, and this acquisition illustrates Integro's very deliberate, strategic growth strategy," said Mr. Garvey.

The firm said the employees of the Kelly Agency would join Integro's Private Client Service group led by Managing Principal Frank Godfrey.

Integro's Private Client Service group offers selective insurance services for clients with substantial personal assets to protect.
