Higginbotham & Associates insurance brokerage said it has partnered with Globex International Group to provide commercial insurance, loss control and employee benefit solutions to U.S.-based customers with multinational operations.
Fort Worth, Texas-based Higginbotham said Globex, headquartered in Chester, N.J., is an international insurance, employee benefits and risk management firm that provides independent brokers and consultants with the ability to operate globally.
The Globex firm has a network of 300 brokers and consultants in 130 countries outside the U.S.
Through Globex, Higginbotham said it is able to provide risk identification and exposure analysis, marketing and placement of property and casualty coverage, group benefits assessment, benefit plan design, benchmarking and compliance assistance.
"More and more companies are tapping into the global market in order to remain competitive," said Higginbotham President and Chief Executive Officer Rusty Reid in a statement.
"Doing business in other countries brings complex risks that our partnership with Globex enables us to treat with the same level of control and expertise that our customers receive locally," he explained.
Higginbotham was founded in 1948 and has 13 offices throughout Texas. The company received National Underwriter's first "Agency of the Year" award in 2002.
