Bermuda-based American Safety Insurance Holdings, Ltd. said it has named Mark W. Haushill as the company's chief financial officer. He will assume the position on Sept. 8.
He replaces Bill Tepe who resigned in April to pursue other interests, a company representative said.
The company said Mr. Haushill has over 23 years of experience in finance, capital management, financial reporting, financial planning, treasury and corporate development.
Prior to joining American Safety Insurance, Mr. Haushill was CFO and Treasurer for Argonaut Group Inc., the predecessor to Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. Most recently he was the CFO and Treasurer of Argo Group U.S.
Before joining Argo Group in 2000, Mr. Haushill was employed in senior management roles at USAA, Titan Holdings and KPMG.
