Westfield Center, Ohio-based insurer Westfield Group said it has named George Wiswesser chief investment officer to oversee management of Westfield Group investment assets.
He replaces Marty Haney, who recently retired from Westfield after 14 years of service.
Mr. Wiswesser joined Westfield in 1997 as an investment manager. He was promoted to executive-equities in 1999. In 2003 Mr. Wiswesser was promoted to senior executive-equities, where he managed Westfield's stock portfolio.
Westfield Insurance, a member of Westfield Group, provides commercial and personal insurance and surety services in 28 states. The company markets products through independent insurance agencies.
