AssuranceAmerica Corp. said it has named John M. Mongelli as its new chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance.
Mr. Mongelli will take his new post Aug.16. The new CFO designee most recently served as vice president and corporate treasurer of ChoicePoint, Inc.
AssuranceAmerica, based in Atlanta, deals with specialty automobile insurance primarily in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Arizona, and Indiana.
