The American Insurance Marketing & Sales Society (AIMS) has named James P. Gosselink president of the association for 2009-2010.

Mr. Gosselink is owner and principal of Tulip City Agency, an eight-person multiline agency in Pella, Iowa.

AIMS also named Curtis M. Pearsall vice president of the association. He is vice president of Utica National Insurance Co. and director of its errors and omissions program.

Officers also named to one year terms were:

o Mike Herzak, president and chief executive officer of Insurance Systems Group as secretary.

o Marty Lebson, principal and vice president of Insurance Resource Group, part of The Capacity Group in Mahwah, N.J., treasurer.

o Ronald D. Stauffer, vice president of Phelan Insurance Agency in Versailles, Ohio, immediate past president.

The association also named five directors elected to new three-year terms.

They were:

o George A. Zelhof, owner, producer of United Assurance, Inc., Fair Lawn, N.J.

o Keith A. Savino, chief operating officer Warwick Resource Group, Warwick, N.Y.

o Richard H. Dygve, principal and vice president of Johnson & Strachan Insurance Agency, Fairfax, Va.

o Philip R. Bogle, president of Bogle Agency, Inc., Lyndhurst, N.J.

o Ronald D. Stauffer, vice president of Phelan Insurance Agency, Versailles, Ohio.

AIMS is a national organization for individuals engaged in sales and marketing in the property and casualty insurance business.
