The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) said it will give a presentation on the legislative and regulatory problems facing auto insurers and collision repair shops at the International Autobody Congress & Exposition this fall.

Bob Passmore, PCI's senior director of personal lines, will be the featured speaker for PCI at the NACE meeting Nov. 4, in Las Vegas.

PCI said Mr. Passmore's presentation will touch on issues from 2009 legislative sessions, including estimating practices, consumer repair choices, shop licensing proposals and aftermarket parts, in addition to what to expect in 2010.

"Insurers and auto body repair shops have a lot of common ground. They share the same customers and are held accountable for a quality repair and repair experience by the consumer," Mr. Passmore said in a statement

NACE, designed for buyers and sellers within the collision repair community, will take place from November 4-7 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
