The National Association of Insurance Women (International) announced that Linda Wilson has been named president of the organization.

Ms. Wilson, who took her post during association's 68th annual convention May 27-31 in New Orleans, is an independent insurance consultant for Willi Associates in Elmer, N.J. She serves a term of one year.

Margaret Wildi, was named president-elect. She is assistant vice president and manager of work/life services for Grange Insurance Companies in Columbus, Ohio.

In other activity at the conference, Taffy F. Troup, senior vice president of administration and operations for Roanoke, Ind., based American Specialty Insurance & Risk Services Inc., a subsidiary of Daytona Beach, Fla.-based insurance broker Brown & Brown, was honored as Insurance Professional of the Year.

Lynn Runyan of Banner Health, Western Region in Loveland, Colo., was named the International Risk Management Professional of the Year.

Tamre Hileman of the Central Insurance Companies in Van Wert, Ohio, was awarded the title of International Professional Underwriter of the Year.
