Spencer Educational Foundation Inc., affiliated with the Risk and Insurance Management Society Inc. in New York, said today it appointed Warren J. Mula to its board of directors.
Mr. Mula is chairman of Aon Risk Services (ARS) U.S. Retail, Aon Corp.'s U.S. risk and insurance brokerage business, responsible for all broking functions and industry-specific business groups. He also has national oversight responsibility for client retention and insurance carrier relations.
Spencer provides scholarship awards and educational grants to stimulate, promote and encourage promising undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of risk management disciplines in fulfilling their educational goals.
Since 1980, Spencer Educational Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in scholarships and $2.1 million in grants to students pursuing degrees and universities offering programs in risk management and insurance.
