Itasca, Ill.-based insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Sellers Group, LLC, of Woodlands, Texas. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Gallagher said Sellers Group is an employee benefit brokerage that offers a full range of group employee benefit products and consulting services.
Sellers specializes in providing health care insurance, benefit plan administration, group benefits planning, retirement benefits, and business succession and funding strategies for their small-to-large client partners in the south central United States. The firm was established in 1997.
Terry Sellers, the principal, and approximately 12 associates will continue to operate from their Texas and Searcy, Ark., locations under the direction of John Neumaier, South Central Regional executive vice president of Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
