Mitchell International, Inc., a provider of information, workflow, and performance management solutions to the property/casualty claims and collision repair industries, has announced the release of WorkCenter Total Loss 3.0 that helps insurers generate fair, market-driven values for total loss vehicles. WorkCenter Total Loss 3.0 provides an advanced vehicle package offering that enables users to select equipment packages that are associated with a specific vehicle model for increased accuracy.

The advanced vehicle package functionality in WorkCenter displays and makes only the equipment that is associated with the vehicle available for selection. Additionally, all equipment associated with the equipment package is automatically selected and entered into the valuation.

Both claims professionals and policyholders will benefit from the new functionality. Claim handlers can ensure they select the correct vehicle configuration, since the Tool Tip outlines all the optional equipment in each package associated with the exterior, interior, mechanical, and safety categories. Policyholders will benefit from valuations that describe their vehicle's equipment in full detail, helping them to be confident they are being provided with an accurate and fair valuation.

"We continually work to improve our industry-leading solutions such as WorkCenter Total Loss so we can help carriers streamline the total loss claims and settlement processes," says Marc Brungger, executive vice president of auto physical damage for Mitchell International. "The latest functionality in WorkCenter Total Loss allows carriers to provide an even better customer experience, a goal we are proud to help them achieve
