Oklahoma City-based independent insurance broker North America Group has rebranded itself as INSURICA, The Insurance Management Network.
"As we mark our 50th anniversary, it is an ideal time to re-brand our network partners together for our continued growth," Mike Ross, INSURICA president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "All of our specialty areas--including hospitality, ministries, construction, energy, transportation, education and more--will now be networked into more comprehensive and efficient services."
He said the change "bodes well for our clients, in terms of cost savings and specialized business plans, and for the long-term future of our company."
The firm said that as part of its re-branding campaign its 12 areas of specialization will be featured in new advertising and marketing efforts, as well as on the company's new Web site--www.INSURICA.com.
According to a spokesman for the firm, INSURICA, an Assurex Global Partner, is predominately a retail insurance agency with wholesale operations, a pool administration division and a claims third-party administrator. The firm's 2008 revenues were in excess of $43 million with more than 220 associates.
