AgencyPort Insurance Services, a provider of Web-based property/casualty solutions, and Guidewire Software, a provider of Web-based core system solutions to property/casualty insurers, have formed an alliance to enable carriers to deliver ease of doing business for independent agency distribution partners.
This alliance will provide Guidewire PolicyCenter customers with agent friendly real-time, application upload and transaction capabilities via AgencyPort's AgencyConnect and AgencyPortal products. This will make real-time quoting from an agency management system more efficient and user friendly, with defaults, corrections, and interviews to bridge gaps between the agency system and the insurer's specific data requirements configured in PolicyCenter.
