Westerville, Ohio-based Progressive Medical Inc., a managed care company, said Chief Operating Officer Kevin Banion has been given the additional title of president.
The transition, effective March 1, will see firm founder Dave Bianconi continuing to serve as chief executive officer.
Mr. Banion, who currently serves as COO, will oversee the company's direction and daily operations. He will ensure that all strategic plans support Progressive Medical's business objectives, the company said.
Mr. Banion will also continue to develop internal policies to maximize efficiency of operations and develop general operating goals and objectives, Progressive said.
Progressive Medical, through a national network, offers cost containment services and products to the workers' compensation and auto no-fault insurance industries.
The company provides pharmacy management and ancillary solutions to manage costs for its clients and provide care for injured workers.
