New York Assemblyman Joseph D. Morelle, D-Rochester, the chairman of the Standing Committee on Insurance, is scheduled to speak at The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc.'s annual Metropolitan Regional Awareness Program (MetroRAP), it was announced.
The Jan. 30 event will be held at the New York Marriott, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Leslie Rogoff, MetroRAP committee chairwoman, said in a statement that Mr. Morelle is an expert on the insurance industry who can provide perspective on current issues affecting the business throughout the state.
"His efforts throughout his tenure to improve the climate for business statewide have given him a reputation as a champion of the New York economy," she said.
The meeting will also include a trade show and education session on errors and omissions coverage.
