Reinsurance brokerage Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, said Charlie Higham has been named chairman and chief executive officer of its Reinsurance Solutions LLC unit.
RSL specializes in providing insurance and reinsurance services and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Guy Carpenter in the US. Mr. Higham will replace Sal Zaffino, who retired but will remain on as a consultant.
John Canavan is set to replace Mr. Higham as Guy Carpenter's global head of client support services.
Peter Zaffino, president and CEO of Guy Carpenter said in a statement “Charlie has significant experience with RSL and has been involved in its operations since its inception.”
