TAPCO Underwriters, Inc., has announced the company's insurance service model is now available to retail agents in Washington and Oregon. The TAPCO service model offers the ability to electronically generate, deliver, and archive quotes, binders, policies, and endorsements, allowing for coverage to be bound in minutes.
As part of a national growth plan that started with expansion into California and Texas in 2007, followed by New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania in early 2008, TAPCO now has extended its territory to include Washington and Oregon.
"We're proud of this recent expansion," says TAPCO president Tap Johnson III. "It's exciting to know the agents in Washington and Oregon and their insureds now have access to the TAPCO service model. We're certain they'll find working with us to quote and bind coverage in a simple, five-minute phone call is the logical choice for their businesses going forward."
Because TAPCO has the binding authority for more than 1,000 classes of business, an actual quote, application(s), finance agreement(s), and terrorism form are generated as PDF documents and e-mailed to the agents before they hang up their phones. This allows the agent to review the quote and application with the insured while they talk. Changes can be made in a matter of minutes, and a revised quote again can be sent electronically to the agents. Coverage then can be bound in that same phone call before the insured walks out of the agent's office.
